I'm Visal Vithanage (Ashen), a dedicated Full Stack Developer currently pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), Colombo, affiliated with the University of Westminster, UK. My main area of focus is the MERN stack – MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js – where I build modern, scalable web applications with clean and maintainable code. Alongside my development experience, I also bring strong technical sales skills, developed through my role at BuildUps Consultancy. I’ve worked directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate those into effective digital solutions. This dual experience in tech and communication allows me to bridge the gap between product and customer, making me an asset in both development and client-facing environments. In addition to full-stack development, I have experience in WordPress, Java, Python, and basic mobile development using Flutter. I'm passionate about building impactful digital products and thrive in collaborative environments where I can learn and grow.
